Susan Pickard Witus, MSW

Role: Geriatric Care Manager

Susan Pickard Witus, MSW

Susan is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. She previously worked as a child and family therapist for the Jewish Children’s Bureau while living in Chicago, and more recently worked for the City of Huntington Woods, Michigan, as the Senior Citizen Outreach Coordinator.

Her desire to work more intensively with older adults led to her current position as a Geriatric Care Manager for ElderCare Solutions of Michigan.

Getting to Know Susan:

As the mother of 3 active boys, wife to a husband who practices law, and owner of a new adorable Labrador Retriever, Susan passionately enjoys both her career and family life. Susan is an avid biker and gardener, and she is active in her community and her sons’ schools.

Susan has combined her education, past work as a therapist and her “life experience,” to become a strong advocate for her clients and is comfortable supporting the entire family system. Being the daughter of a Detroit physician and having a mother who was ill taught her to be effective in working with medical systems to obtain the best care possible for her clients.

Susan feels fortunate to work with such a professional, talented, and devoted team who take pride in helping older adults and their families navigate the community to find the resources they need to continue to live with dignity.
